God’s Word, the Bible, is such a rich, authoritative, and insightful foundation that the church through the ages has found it can provide incredible discernment into the thoughts and intentions of the heart. It is so powerful and pierces to such depth, that it has been the source to help man resolve life’s most challenging situations and questions, both for helping those most in need and for training those who want to learn to help others. (We do not practice any form of psychiatry or psychology.)
